Well, look no further because TATA Memorial Centre’s Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) in Navi Mumbai is offering a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position on a project that aims to identify novel autophagy modulators from a natural compound library.
The project, titled “Identification of novel autophagy modulators from a natural compound library by using a unique autophagy reporter from live cell and preclinical mouse model,” requires candidates with an MSc in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, or other relevant branches of biological sciences, along with a minimum of 2-4 years of research experience in cell and molecular biology techniques, reporter gene assay, immunofluorescence, western blot, and drug efficacy measurement.
Candidates with experience in real-time molecular imaging of cells and small animal models are highly preferred for this position. The salary for the SRF role is Rs. 35,000/- per month, and the upper age limit is 32 years (relaxable as per Government of India norms). The duration of the position is six months, with the potential for extension based on satisfactory progress of work.
Eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview on Thursday, 28th December 2023, in Meeting Room 2, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai – 410210. The reporting time for the interview is from 09:45 AM to 10:15 AM.
