Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the opening of online applications for Assistant Engineer positions. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website at opsc.gov.in from January 12, 2024, with the closing date for applications being February 12, 2024.
There are a total of 621 vacancies, with 580 for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and 41 for Assistant Engineer (Mechanical).
To be eligible, applicants must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of January 1, 2023. They must also have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification recognized by the government, or be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil or Mechanical.
The application process involves registering on the official portal, completing the necessary information, and submitting required documents. There is no application fee.
Selection will be based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score and subsequent interview rounds.
