PSPCL Starts Online Registration for 2500 Assistant Lineman Posts; Eligibility Criteria, Vacancy Details Here

The Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has begun the online registration process for the Assistant Lineman posts on December 26. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of PSPCL at pspcl.in until January 15, 2024. A total of 2,500 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. It is important for interested candidates to apply online before the deadline, as applications will not be considered after January 15, 2024.

– General: 849 Posts
– XSM (Self/Dep.) – Ex-servicemen (Self/Dependent): 259 Posts
– FF – Freedom Fighter: 255 Posts
– EWS: 250 Posts
– SC/ST: 250 Posts
– SC (OT) – Scheduled Caste (Others): 250 Posts
– BC only – Backward Class only: 250 Posts
– PWD (PD) – Person with disability: 100 Posts
– SP (G) – Sports person (General): 92 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying should be between the ages of 18 to 37 years. There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.

Applicants with a Class 10 pass certificate or its equivalent education and a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the Lineman Trade are eligible to apply. Those with a higher education, such as a degree or diploma in electrical engineering, will be considered only if they have the minimum qualification, such as a National Apprenticeship Certificate in the Lineman Trade.

Application Fees:
All applicants must pay an application fee of Rs 944 + bank charges, except those who fall under the Schedule Caste (SC) or Person with Disability categories (PwD), where candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 590 + bank charges.

Selection Process:
The selection process consists of two computer-based tests (CBT): Part I and Part II. The recruitment exam would last for 3 hours (or 180 minutes).
